Optional garnish: Florida Orange sliceswhen in season, October through May, chives, sesame seeds
Instructions
In a bowl, whisk together Florida Orange Juice, honey, soy sauce and garlic until well combined. Set aside.
Add olive oil to a large pan over medium high heat. Season salmon with salt and pepper.
Once the oil is hot, add salmon skin side up and sear for about 3 minutes, until golden.
Flip salmon and pour Florida Orange Juice mixture over the salmon. Turn the heat down to medium and let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes, until it thickens. Stir occasionally so the sauce doesn’t burn, using a spoon to add more to the tops of the salmon.
Remove from heat. Garnish with Florida Orange slices when they are in season, typically from October through May, as well as chives and sesame seeds, then serve.
