These easy 4-Ingredient Cookies & Cream Truffles are the perfect no-bake dessert! Made with Oreo cookies, cream cheese, chocolate, and coconut oil, these chocolate-covered Oreo truffles are simple to make and fun to decorate with sprinkles. They’re perfect for Valentine’s Day, parties, holidays, or whenever you want a delicious chocolate treat.

I never really got into little holidays until I had kids.

But with my kids, it’s so fun to celebrate every little thing.

We even celebrated Groundhog’s Day the other day. Why not!

It’s fun to have an excuse to celebrate, get little presents, or eat special food.

Like I always say, food is a really important part of holidays, special events, and memories.

You might have memories of spending holiday cooking matzoh ball soup with your grandma or baking cookies with your mom. Maybe you and your children love to go on ice cream dates together. (These are all special memories of mine!)

It’s very normal – and actually recommended – for memories to revolve around food.

Food is more than just nourishment. It brings people together. And this is why it’s so important to have a healthy relationship with it. You can’t fully embrace these moments and memories without fully allowing yourself to embrace food.

And that’s why I love picking a fun, chocolatey treat to make with or for my kids on Valentine’s Day.

Because Valentine’s Day is about love and food is one of the ways we show love. And who doesn’t love chocolate?!

These truffles are fun, delicious, and so easy to make. They have just 4 main ingredients (plus sprinkles!) and you can decorate them however you want.

I love a version with pink and red heart sprinkles for Valentine’s Day. But of course, you can never go wrong with rainbow sprinkles on these Cookies & Cream Truffles for any other day of the year.

My kids (and I!) loved these Cookies & Cream Truffles. They’re a perfectly fun way to celebrate Valentine’s Day, eat something delicious, and show someone some love.

Why You’ll Love These Cookies & Cream Truffles

If you’re looking for an easy dessert recipe, this is it.

This truffles are made with truly only 4 ingredients — and ones that you probably already have at home too: Oreo cookies, cream cheese, chocolate, and coconut oil (okay, and sprinkles).

They couldn’t be easier to make. They’re fun to make with kids (albeit messy :)) and simple to make on your own for whenever a sweet craving hits.

Store in the fridge and enjoy them any time to easily satisfy your sweet tooth.

How to Make 4-Ingredient Cookies & Cream Truffles

Prep ingredients

All you need is one package of Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies), cream cheese, baking chocolate, coconut oil, and sprinkles or toppings of your choice.

Grind the Oreos

Add the Oreos to a large food processor or powerful blender. Process for about 10-20 minutes, until fine crumbs remain.

Add cream cheese

Break the cream cheese apart into small pieces and add to the food processor. Process for another 10 seconds, until well combined.

Roll into balls

Using your hands, roll the mixture into balls (about 2 tablespoons each). Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and place in the refrigerator to harden for 1 hour. You’ll have about 12-14 truffles.

Melt chocolate

Break or cut the baking chocolate into smaller pieces. Add to a microwave-safe bowl with the coconut oil and microwave for 2 minutes, or until almost fully melted. Stir until smooth and cohesive.

Dip in chocolate

Using a fork, dip the truffles into the melted chocolate. Try to shake off any excess chocolate, and then place the dipped truffles back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.

Add sprinkles on top of the Cookies & Cream Truffles (or all over, depending on your preference).

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Oreos: Regular Oreos will give the best cookies & cream flavor. While I haven’t made these with any other flavored Oreos, I’m sure they’d be just as delicious.
  • Cream cheese: Make sure to let it soften so that it blends easily. You can leave it at room temperature for an hour to soften.
  • Chocolate: Baking chocolate will melt most smoothly. Alternatively, you can also use chocolate chips.
  • Coconut oil: This helps to melt the chocolate, but you can omit it if needed:
  • Sprinkles: Use your favorite kind!

4-Ingredient Cookies & Cream Truffles Tips

  • Tip: Work quickly when dipping the truffles in the chocolate, as they’ll soften quickly. If needed, you can place them back in the fridge to harden halfway through and then resume dipping.
  • Storage: Store 4-Ingredient Cookies & Cream Truffles in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Frequently Asked Questions

No! Use the entire Oreo, including the cream filling. The filling helps give the inside of the truffles their rich, creamy texture.

Yes. Oreo truffles can be frozen in an airtight, freezer-safe container. Let them thaw in the refrigerator before serving so the chocolate coating and filling can gradually soften.

If your truffles aren’t holding together, make sure the Oreos have been processed into very fine crumbs and that the cream cheese is thoroughly incorporated. The mixture should hold together easily when pressed and rolled into a ball.

Yes. Because Oreo truffles are made with cream cheese, they should be kept refrigerated rather than stored long-term at room temperature.
