- Raspberry Chocolate Chip Baked Oatmeal: A make ahead breakfast full of oats and raspberries.
Ingredients You’ll Need
- Bananas: Make sure your bananas are super ripe. The more ripe they are, the sweeter the bars will be. If you want to ripen bananas quickly, try preheating the oven to 350 F – add them to baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes. They’ll be black on the outside but super ripe and perfect for baking. To add extra sweetness if your bananas aren’t ripe enough, you can also add a little maple syrup to the mix.
- Peanut butter: Any type will work for these Peanut Butter Banana Bars! A sweetened peanut butter will yield a sweet end product than using a natural peanut butter.
- Oats: Use instant or quick cooking oats. Steel cut oats won’t work in this recipe.
- Chocolate chips: Choose your adventure 🙂 Milk chocolate, semi sweet, or dark chocolate chips would all be delish.

So good!!!
Just made these and we love them! We love anything with peanut butter so to increase the flavour of it, we added just a touch more of peanut butter and they are so good!
This was yummy! It definitely hit the spot! I cooked it for 35 minutes as the texture was a little softer than I expected, so I may add more oats or leave it in for longer. Other than that, it was great. Added honey, and the flavor was perfect! Thank You!!
Can you substitute PB Powder, and if so what would the portion be? TY…super excited to try this.
Is this healthy to eat as a snack consistently? I don’t see nutrition facts listed
Very tasty! I made these and ate them all in one afternoon. Will definitely be making them again.
I have made this recipe several times and it’s one of our favorites. I’m diabetic and it’s a perfect treat for something sweet.
Love this simple and healthy treat. I make these regularly. My husband loves them, too. We’ll eat them for a quick breakfast or pack them when we go on a hike/ride/run.
Looks yummy. Recipe states 3 bananas. How many cups is that?
Not Sweet! And I love that! The chocolate I used was a cut up bar of 56% chocolate with some milk chocolate chips on top. I baked it for 30 minutes and it was still very soft on the inside but with the ingredients …I can eat it!
